Councillor Roberts was appointed to the Authority by Liverpool City Council on 11th June 2014, where he represents Greenbank Ward. He has responsibility within Liverpool City Council, for answering questions on the discharge of the functions of the Authority.
He is a member of the Labour Group on the Authority and in June 2019 was appointed joint Vice-Chair of the Authority.
He is Chair of Policy & Resources Committee and is also appointed to the Joint Police and Fire Committee, the Appeals Committee and Appointments Committee.
