Purpose of committee
Authority meetings take place quarterly and include all 18 elected Members, and the Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside. Members are nominated from each of the five districts in Merseyside and appointed at the Annual General Meeting each year.
The February Authority meeting is designated as the Budget Authority wherein the Members will approve the budget for the next financial year.
