Appeals Committee

Purpose of committee

This Committee has no scheduled meetings in the year but meets when there is relevant business to discuss. This Panel deals with any appeals in relation to employees dismissal in respect of the Authority’s agreed discipline procedure, reconsideration of cases under the Fire-Fighters Pension Scheme, Grievance appeals, licences for the manufacture and storage of explosives, any other matters that may be referred to the Committee.

 

Due to the nature of the content discussed at this Committee the meetings are not open to the public.
