This Committee usually considers any matters
related to the delivery of services to the diverse communities of
Merseyside, and the development, promotion and delivery of a
co-ordinated strategy for maintaining safer communities. This
includes any matters relating to Operational Preparedness (being
prepared for any eventuality where the skills and services of
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority may be called upon),
Operational Response (responding effectively to any incident),
Prevention and Protection (Working in and with the communities of
Merseyside to pre-emptively reduce incidents through engagement and
learning).
