To consider Report CFO/075/18 of the Chief Fire Officer, concerning the award of contract for travel management services.

This report contains EXEMPT information by virtue of Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

Members considered Report CFO/075/18 of the Chief Fire Officer, concerning the award of contract for Travel Management Services to Diversity travel Limited.

Members were informed that we currently have a system for the booking of travel and accommodation, provided by Click Travel Ltd.

They were advised that the contract with Click Travel will expire on 30^th November 2018; and although we could have looked to extend the current contract, it is no longer deemed to be suitable, due to the increased number of bookings MFRA are now making, mainly as a result of MFRA gaining responsibility for National Resilience.

Members were further advised that the awarding of a new contract will be under a framework.

Members Resolved that:

the award of contract for Travel Management Services to Diversity Travel Limited for the period 1^st December 2018 to 30^th November 2020 with the option to extend for a further 2 years, be approved.
