Councillor O’Keeffe was appointed to the Authority in June 2018 by Knowsley Borough Council, where she represents Prescot South Ward. She has responsibility within Knowsley Council for answering questions on the discharge of the functions of the Authority.

Councillor O’Keeffe is a member of the Labour Group on the Authority. In June 2019 she was appointed as Chair of the Audit Committee, as is also appointed to the Policy & Resources Committee.
